Property Maintenance Program

The Property Maintenance Program is designed to be implemeted over a rotating 6-year catamenia, with unlike neighborhoods of the City being inspected each year.  Within each Focus Area the Code Enforcement Officeholder inspects every property and identifies those which have deficiencies, as defined by the International Holding Maintenance Code (IPMC, 2015 Edition).

The Urban center Committee adopted the IPMC under Section viii-96 of the Code of Ordinances. It is the stated intent of the IPMC to "ensure the public health, safety and welfare insofar as they are afflicted by the continued occupancy and maintenance of structures and premises.
